Degraded Number Swapping Performance - 9:30am to 11:39am Pacific Time
Incident Report for Invoca
Resolved
On Monday October 19 between 9:30am and 11:39am Pacific time Invoca experienced degraded performance when swapping dynamic numbers for insertion on webpages. Numbers swapped more slowly than usual, and in some circumstances a small percentage of requests for numbers from RingPools timed out or failed to return a number. In the course of investigation the issue our engineering team identified a resource bottleneck and implemented a fix to resolve it, after which the number swapping returned to normal response times and success rates after 11:39am Pacific time.

Call routing and attribution for calls placed placed through the Invoca platform were not impacted in any way. Call volume to dynamically inserted RingPool numbers may be lower than it otherwise would during the incident window, as some numbers on pages running the Invoca Tag may have intermittently failed to swap. This would result in calls being placed to the number hard coded on the page rather than a dynamic tracking number.

Calls placed to static Invoca promo numbers were not impacted.
